By accessing or using ActorBook Studio, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

ActorBook Studio provides tools for actors including script parsing, casting, audition reading, rehearsal, line memorization, career tracking, and portfolio management. The service uses AI features such as script analysis and voice generation.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate account information and are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.

4. User Content and Ownership

You retain ownership of scripts, photos, videos, audio, and other materials you upload. You grant us only the limited license required to host, store, display, and process content to operate the service.

You represent and warrant that:

• You own the content or have rights to upload and use it.
• Uploading does not violate third-party rights.
• You will not upload NDA or confidential materials without explicit written permission.

5. Prohibited Conduct

• Uploading unlawful, abusive, infringing, or otherwise harmful content.
• Using the service in violation of law.
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling service components.

6. AI Disclosure

AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated output before professional use. ActorBook Studio does not guarantee booking outcomes or professional results.

8. Billing and Refunds

Premium subscriptions may include a 7-day trial and renew automatically unless canceled before renewal. See the full Refund and Billing Policy for details.

9. User-Uploaded Content

When you upload a script or sides, you represent that you are using the material for your personal audition preparation, and that this use is consistent with any agreements, NDAs, or terms imposed by the casting office, studio, agency, or rights holder that provided it. ActorBook Studio does not verify rights and relies on this representation.

You agree to indemnify and hold ActorBook Studio harmless from any claims, damages, or costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from material you upload, including copyright or confidentiality claims.

ActorBook Studio acts as a passive conduit for user-uploaded material. We do not pre-screen content, and we respond to valid takedown notices through the process described in our DMCA policy.

10. Warranty Disclaimer and Liability

The service is provided AS IS and AS AVAILABLE. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ActorBook Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

12. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, including but not limited to repeated copyright infringement. ActorBook Studio will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers of third-party copyrights. Determination of repeat infringement is at our reasonable discretion based on DMCA takedown notices received and other evidence.

13. Auto-Renewal

Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the same price unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel anytime in your billing settings. We will notify you by email before any price changes take effect.
