ActorBook Privacy

Your Privacy

ActorBook doesn't use cookies, doesn't track you, and doesn't sell your data. Your scripts and recordings are your work — we treat them that way.

No Cookies

ActorBook sets zero cookies. Your session is managed through secure Firebase authentication tokens stored in your browser — not cookie-based sessions. There is no cookie banner because there are no cookies to consent to.

No Third-Party Tracking

  • No Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no tracking scripts of any kind.
  • No data is shared with advertisers or third-party data brokers.
  • No behavioral profiling, no retargeting, no fingerprinting.
  • We don't know what other sites you visit. We don't want to.

What We Store

  • Your browser — Preferences like teleprompter speed, voice selections, and layout settings are saved in browser local storage for instant access. These sync to your encrypted Firebase account so they follow you across devices.
  • Your account — Scripts, recordings, audition history, contacts, and profile data are stored in your private Firebase account, encrypted at rest with AES-256.
  • Authentication tokens — Short-lived, auto-refreshing tokens in your browser verify your identity on each request. They're not cookies — they're stored in local storage and sent as authorization headers.

Your Data, Your Control

  • Full account deletion available from your profile settings at any time.
  • Deletion removes everything — profile, scripts, recordings, cached files, billing records.
  • You can request data access or correction by contacting info@actorbook.studio.

Error Monitoring

We use Sentry to detect and fix crashes. Sentry collects error details (stack traces, browser type) to help us debug issues — it does not set cookies, does not track your browsing behavior, and does not collect personal data beyond what's needed to reproduce a bug.

Payment Privacy

Payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. ActorBook never sees, stores, or has access to your credit card numbers. For full details on how we protect your data, see our Security page.
